Friday I spent over an hour getting fitted for my new Independent Fabrication steel Planet Cross. I’ve never been fitted for a bike and dispite the expense, I couldn’t be more excited.
I’m a big fan of steel bikes. Titanium is great but I’ve always preferred the feel and history of steel. What I’ve never been that impressed with is carbon fiber and aluminum. They’re light but I’m pretty rough on my bikes. My last carbon bike died when the seat post bolt snapped off in my hands.
The Planet Cross will go great with my Gios Compact PRO. Especially considering SLO is surrounded by dirt.
